Those who live with us can go online comfortably at any time.

With WLAN/WiFi wireless internet connection, you can log on with your laptop or computer flexibly without any complicated cable installations any place in your domicile at Ernst-Reuter-Haus, Walter-May-Haus, Paul-Hertz-Haus, Hanielweg, and Brunnenstraße.

Your internet access over our broadband wireless connection is effective and is set up for single users. The high bandwidth offers up to 3072 kbit/s downstream and up to 384 kbit/s upstream making for highperformance and fast data-transfers. A requirement for internet access is that your computer has Windows 98/Me/2000/XP or Vista and 5 MB free space on the hard drive.

If you need to go online to do research for your next paper, to download new internet applications, or mail extensive PDFs - you can do it with us for an affordable monthly fixed price.

To have broadband internet, make a contract with us for a minimum period of 3 months. There after the contract extends one month at a time if it hasn´t been cancelled one month before discontinuation. The monthly charge of 9,99 € is paid together with the rent at the beginning of the month.

For your security: The WLAN/WiFi technology offered by the Bürgermeister-Reuter-Foundation meets the European norm EN 60601-1-2 for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and the guideline for product safety EN 60950.
